This is a picture of my "thank you" notes for my Christmas presents. I have been so blessed the past several years with students that I absolutely adore! Today I am remind of this and am thankful for the lives God has entrusted to me in my classroom.
I want to be a teacher that challenges her students to work for something...to have a sense of pride in the accomplishment of my class. BUT...I also want my students to know how much I love them and care about their success...not just in my classroom, but in life! I've never taught for just my year. I've always taught with the next four years, high school, in mind. I want my students to excel in high school...with a foundation that is strong!
Isaiah 1:17 says, "Learn to do right"...
Proverbs 1:5 says, "Let the wise listen and add to their learning, and let the discerning get guidance".
Proverbs 3:1-2 says, "My son, do not forget my teaching, but keep my commands in your heart, for they will prolong your life for many years and bring you prosperity".
These three verses are reminders for me...just as my students are reminders for me. I am learning to listen...to appreciate my students...to be thankful for the blessings God gives me through my classroom. I pray, my students will also take these things to heart and celebrate the abundant life today.
In Him-

As a student's mom. I just want to say it is a blessing to know he has a teacher that cares for him and has his best interest at heart as well. I am thankful for all the instruction you have given him and will continue to give him for the rest of the school year. I know what he has learned in and out of your classroom he will use later in life as well as this year. Thans agains for all of your hard work, dedication, and love for your students.
